Trigger Gumm, a legendary name within the motocross world, has unexpectedly passed away on June 24th, 2022. Known on a global scale for his extreme motocross stunts and overall enthusiasm for extreme sports, Gumm was an iconic member of the Crusty Demons.
The Crusty Demons are a renowned group of daredevil motocross riders that formed in 1994 that were critical for shaping the sport into what it is today, and continue to preform epic stunts and shows across the world.
One of Trigger Gumm’s crazy stunts on the ramp made thousands of people go wild. Setting a record for the longest jump with his Honda 500cc, Gumm launched into the air, jumping 270 feet before landing on the next ramp. Take a look below to see for your self:
His amazing skills as a freestyle motocross rider graced the movie screens in films like The Mind of the Demon (2009), Rally On (2011), Looped (2012), and Mat Hoffman’s Tribute to Evel Knievel (2008). A daring stunt man, Gumm was born on June 14, he was born in San Clemente, California, United States. He is one of two free style motocross riders to jump than 300 feet, which he accomplished in 2006.
